Bonus terms explained
A glossary of the conditions you'll see attached to crypto-casino promotions. Read these before opting in.
Wagering / rollover
The most important number on any bonus. Wagering tells you how many times you must bet the bonus (or the bonus + deposit) before withdrawing winnings derived from it. A 30x wagering requirement on a $10 bonus means $300 in qualifying wagers.
Game contribution
Different games count differently toward wagering. Common pattern:
- Slots: usually 100% contribution.
- Live dealer / table games: often 10–20%.
- Specific high-RTP titles, sports cashout bets, or hedged betting: often 0% or excluded.
Max bet during bonus play
While wagering, your per-spin / per-hand maximum is typically capped (often around $5). Going over it — even once — is usually grounds for voiding the bonus and bonus-derived winnings.
Eligible games
Some bonuses are restricted to a specific category (e.g. slots-only) or even a specific provider or title. Bonus play on excluded games doesn't progress wagering and may forfeit the bonus.
Expiry
Bonuses have a finite life — often 7, 14 or 30 days. If you don't meet the wagering in time, the bonus and bonus-derived winnings are removed.
Min deposit / qualifying deposit
Most bonuses require a minimum deposit (e.g. $10) made in a specific way. Deposits below the threshold or using ineligible methods don't trigger the offer.
Withdrawal restrictions
Until wagering is complete, withdrawal of the bonus and bonus-derived winnings is locked. Some platforms allow you to forfeit the bonus to withdraw — but you lose anything tied to it.
Bonus abuse / one per household
Most platforms restrict bonuses to one per person, household, IP, or payment method. Creating additional accounts to claim bonuses is grounds for permanent account closure and confiscation of funds.
Rakeback & reload bonuses
These are recurring promotions Stake players may see inside their account. Rakeback returns a small percentage of your wagering activity over time and accrues with VIP/Loyalty progress. Reload bonuses appear in the Promotions tab on a rolling basis. Both have their own terms — read them inside Stake before opting in.
